Mercy Flights Inc. was founded in 1949 with a social mission to provide life-saving medical transport to rural southern Oregon residents in need. Based in Medford Oregon, Mercy Flights was the nation’s first not-for-profit air ambulance. Today, the integrated mobile healthcare organization responds to over 30,000 medical transport requests and serves residents in southern Oregon and northern California.

The Oregon Department of Transportation began in 1913 when the Oregon Legislature created the Oregon Highway Commission to "get Oregon out of the mud."

Today, we develop programs related to Oregon’s system of highways, roads, and bridges; railways; public transportation services; transportation safety programs; driver and vehicle licensing; and motor carrier regulation.

Fire District 3 provides fire suppression, emergency medical and rescue services, and community care to more than 57,000 residents living in the communities of Central Point, White City, Eagle Point, Gold Hill, Sams Valley, Dodge Bridge, and Agate Lake. The District’s 67 full-time employees and 18 volunteers work from four career stations, four volunteer stations, and an Administration office to provide coverage to the 171 square miles that encompass the District. Fire District 3 is also home to our regional Training Center, located at our White City facility.
